The Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club (CJRC), is a youth rowing organization that is run as a non-profit, self-supporting corporation by the parents and supporters of young men and women from area junior high and high schools. Oarsmen train out of the Licking River, as well as the indoor training center, complete with indoor tanks and rowing machines, within the Montgomery Inn Boathouse on Eastern Avenue during the winter months. They participate in a season of local and out-of-town on-water regattas and indoor ergometer races throughout the rowing year. The boathouse properties house the rowing shells and equipment and allow these young athletes to participate in a variety of venues of the sport.

An organization that began 22 years ago with the Cincinnati Regatta, the CJRC is experiencing unprecedented growth and success through the generous support and funding of a dedicated team of adult supporters; the fund-raising efforts of the CJRC parents; and coaches Greg Hull, Andy Piepmeier, Amanda Kolb, Phil Smith, Zach Smith, Jake Kallenberg, and Caroline Rettig.
